These values are comparable with the resources needed by other media players, but when using MPlayerX we also sometimes experienced an audio delay that was not present when opening the same MKV file with another OS X media player.

During our test, the MPlayerX rendering of a video had a delayed soundtrack, even if the problem did not occur when using a similar OS X product. In addition, when dealing with a Video_TS folder, MPlayerX was not able to recognize the DVD menu, and we could not jump through the video by using the control bar.Mac and ntfs.
